Submitting your first claim in OtterClaims is quick and easy. This guide will walk you through the entire process step-by-step.
Step 1: Access the New Claim Form
- Log in to your OtterClaims account
- Click on "Claims" in the left sidebar
- Click the "New Claim" button in the top right corner
Step 2: Enter Basic Information
You'll need to provide the following information:
- Contract Provider: Select the warranty company or contract provider for this claim
- Claim Type: Choose between Warranty, Extended Warranty, or Service Contract
- Priority: Set the urgency level (Low, Medium, High, or Critical)
- Description: Provide a brief summary of the issue
Step 3: Add Vehicle Information
Enter details about the vehicle:
- VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
- Year, Make, and Model
- Current mileage
- License plate number
- Customer name and contact information
Step 4: Document the Repairs
Provide detailed information about the repair work:
- List all complaints or issues
- Add parts needed for each complaint
- Include labor hours and rates
- Specify any diagnostic fees
