    Take control of how and when you receive updates from OtterClaims. Proper notification settings help you stay informed without feeling overwhelmed.

    Accessing Notification Settings

    Quick Access

    1. Click your profile picture in the top right
    2. Select "Settings"
    3. Click "Notifications" in the sidebar
    4. Choose your preferences
    5. Save changes at the bottom

    Notification Channels

    Email Notifications

    Receive updates via email:

    • Most detailed notification method
    • Includes full context and details
    • Direct links to relevant claims
    • Can be organized with email filters

    In-App Notifications

    See updates within OtterClaims:

    • Real-time alerts
    • Notification badge on bell icon
    • Quick preview without leaving page
    • Marked as read automatically

    SMS Notifications

    Text message alerts for urgent items:

    • Requires phone number verification
    • Best for time-sensitive updates
    • Standard messaging rates apply
    • Can be limited to critical items only

    Push Notifications

    • Must grant browser permission
